Re: Published a package

Thanks for your reply.

But I think it's a shame not to be able to participate in WAPTGET projects

by adding official tis-xxxx repositories. Other repository software like Chocolatey has more repositories.

For example, Kodi, which is free, and the Nvidia and ATI drivers are missing. Wouldn't it be...?

Published a package

How can I participate in updating or adding the tis-xxxx package on your servers?

Or how can I share our packages with other members?

waptget client register error error text_factory 8bit

Tip for those who get an error message when typing `wap-get register` in the command line: `

Error: text_factory 8bit blablabla`.

This means the machine name contains special characters, for example: éèà...

Rename the PC and restart.

Then type `wap-get register` again; it should work.

Rename the Machines

Hello,

I would like to rename the machines on the "WAPT Console", or at least change the description so I can find them more easily. Currently, if I change the name or description, it doesn't reflect the change.

Is this possible?

Sincerely,

Package xxx: Restricted access

Hello,

In the WAPT Console, if I remove or apply a package to a machine, I get the message "Package xxx: Restricted access".

Could someone please help me, as I don't know how to resolve this issue?

Sincerely,

Re: Updating repositories on the server

Thanks for your reply.

Basically, the idea is to have two PCs: a Wapt-Get server and a TIS client.

Steps:
1. The TIS client updates.
2. Retrieves the *.wapt files from the server.
3. Modifies the repositories to make them compatible with the Wapt-Get server.

Good idea. Otherwise, I prefer the method...

Updating the repositories on the server

Hello,

Is it possible to automate the updating of private repositories on the wapt-get server?

For example: I import the Firefox 40.0.3-20 repository, and the wapt-get server regularly checks if a new Firefox repository exists and automatically updates it in the various groups.

Best regards

Re: Error when trying to modify a package group

I found the error. The Windows user account name must not contain apostrophes, otherwise it crashes the JSON.

And as a result, changes cannot be saved. Developers, I've found a bug for you to fix.

Sincerely, a budding developer who greets you...

Error if I try to modify a package group

Hello!

I just discovered wapt, and I think it's excellent work.

But I have a problem. I created a "test" package group and added packages like mj-7zip -> tis-7zip. I deployed this group to several machines. The deployment went smoothly.

But if I want to modify the...
