WAPT model change notice

Hello,

I wanted to respond to your announcement of a model change.

I find it unfortunate, quite simply.

I think your problem lies more with the pricing.

In my opinion, your prices are simply too high or too low.

Your paid version is too expensive, the...

Bug install Flash Player + solution (bug setuphelpers)

On some machines, I encountered a bug with the installation of the Adobe Flash Player package downloaded from the official WAPT repository.

The package would throw an error and attempt to install every time the machine was shut down:

Error:

File "C:\Program Files (x86)\wapt\setuphelpers_windows.py", line ...

Re: CPU at 99%

Sorry, I wasn't in the office to test the nightly build yesterday afternoon.

I installed version 6229 and indeed the problem disappeared! :-)

Thank you so much, you guys are awesome!

Re: CPU at 99%

How effective is it? :-)

I tested it by just retrieving the corrected payload.py (and deleting payload.pyc), but I didn't see any difference. I'm probably doing it wrong.

[RESOLVED] CPU at 99%

Hello,

since updating wapt + Debian following the wiki procedure, my Python process is always at 99.9%:

771 wapt 20 0 198608 83228 13776 R 99.9 4.1 5:20.27 python.

I restart the service, it works fine for 30 seconds, then it loops.

Running `strace -f -p pid` shows...

Re: DISCONNECTED stations + solution

Thank you for your reply. I needed it for certain programming software to bypass the proxy, but now that I've found the workaround, no problem. :D

It was mainly to share for posterity. :)

[SOLVED] DISCONNECTED stations + solution

Hi,

I had most of my workstations disconnected.

It's worth noting that this can happen if there's more than a 5-minute time difference between the client and server times.

In my case, that wasn't the problem.

Looking at my workstations with TCPVIEW (from Sysinternals), I realized that...

Re: WAPT agent with sysprep

I'm replying to myself, it worked. By doing wapt-get reset-uuid followed by wapt-get register.

Re: [SOLVED] WaptExit Windows 7 Bug

Quick question about this.

I'm also experiencing random, blocking crashes when shutting down.

My server is running version 1.7.4.6077.

Can I install a client running version 1.7.5.6190 without any issues, or will that cause compatibility problems?

I don't want to modify the server...

Re: [SOLVED] Slow wapt-get: solution

Sorry, I missed quite a few messages, and then I was on vacation and missed more. I updated my email to one I check more often. ;-)

No, I haven't looked at the function yet, I'll get back to it when I have 5 minutes, I promise!
