Hello everyone,
during installation on workstations via Wapt:
wapt: 1.8.1.6742,
the package wapt tis-qgis-ltr 3.22.7-12 reports an error
(see screenshot).
Picture

However, it's impossible to uninstall via Wapt; I have to uninstall manually on the workstation.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Thierry,

with Tranquil IT ending support for WAPT 1.8.2 Community at the end of April 2022, followed by the end of support for WAPT 1.8.2 Enterprise at the end of June, packages in the store are no longer guaranteed to be compatible with WAPT version 1.8.2.

In this case, this package calls a specific WAPT 2.x function. I therefore recommend upgrading; this will resolve the issue. In fact, this problem will soon affect many packages, as we were careful not to use certain features to maintain compatibility. Now that this is no longer necessary (end of 1.8.2 support), Tranquil IT will no longer guarantee backward compatibility with the 1.8 branch in the store.

However, the package should have been tagged as a minimal WAPT 2.x version. We will correct this.

FYI, all packages in the store now go through the LUTI process, which tests the installation, uninstallation, and then the upgrade (i.e., installing version n-1 and then installing version n). Therefore, there shouldn't be any problems like this on an up-to-date WAPT version.

Regards,

Denis

Hello, thank you dcardon for the reply.

So indeed the problem seems to be due to the version.

I will look into updating this version

. Regards.
