Good morning,

I am writing to ask for your opinion because I have a very strange problem on 2 computers.

I created a group of packages which I called "base" due to a lack of imagination and I put various packages into it, including firefox.
Everything is going well for everyone else, it's wonderful. But for 2 positions, there's total confusion.
  • If I add the package group as a dependency, it installs everything except Firefox and gives me an error because the dependency is not resolved
  • If I only use Firefox, the package with the same identifier fails for the same reason
  • It does not appear in the self-service menu, neither as installed nor as not installed
Of course, I've done plenty of tests; the antivirus has the same rules as the others, the same permissions for everyone
  • Delete the console and station (multiple times)
  • Remove Firefox from the repositories and reinstall it
  • the WAPT-GET commands
    • wapt-get search XXXX-firefox: No result (this works with other packages)
    • wapt-get audit: I'm getting a 500 error on these two machines
    • wapt-get download: "Downloading packages" then it returns control
    • wapt-get install: It starts the task, but nothing happens and I get the following: Summary: Unavailable: XXXX-firefox and now I also get the error on my machine:
      Critical:
      === Unavailable packages ===
      XXXX-firefox [x64_fr_PROD]
Does anyone have any ideas or leads on where to look because I'm stuck here?

    Thank you

In the case of Firefox, it's often the language.

Is the package in your repository in French or English?
Is your computer in French or English?

The architecture can also play a role.

Wow, I'm impressed! :)

Indeed, both posts are in English, why? How? I don't know.

I'll test them and get back to you.

Thank you so much for this demonstration of talent. :)
