Wapt is completely unable to install Chrome. Since I uninstalled the software, I no longer have anything.

However, if the message continues to say during installation:

Code: Select all

MSI googlechromestandaloneenterprise64.msi has been executed and key {FB5A6B22-71AB-36B9-AC32-02EAC075DEC3} has been found in the registry, but version in registry does not match requirements of min_version=131.0.6778.70
The chrome executable file has been found

I can confirm that the Chrome .exe file is no longer available on the machine.
But I'm still getting this error message on Wapt.

But then the Chrome key "{FB5A6B22-71AB-36B9-AC32-02EAC075DEC3}" is present in the software inventory tab?

I misread the question, sorry.
in the Wapt software inventory is present, but Chrome is no longer present on the PC itself (except for traces in the registry), yet the error message persists when deploying the package.

I found a workaround:
  • Downloading and installing Chrome from the internet,
then reapplying the Chrome package to the computer –
    everything OK
However, this does not explain why I have this problem on multiple PCs.
