* Specify the installed WAPT version, full version, and build number (2.2.1.11957 / 2.2.2.12337 / etc.) as well as the Enterprise/Discovery edition.
* Versions 1.8.2 and earlier are no longer supported. The only questions accepted regarding version 1.8.2 are related to upgrading to a supported version (2.1, 2.2, etc.).

* Specify the OS of the administration/package creation machine and the machine with the problematic agent, if applicable (Windows 7/10/11/Debian 11/etc.).

I want to create an Office 2016 package for deployment, but I can't create it. I'm using `wapt-get make-template`.

Apparently, after this error, Office is still installed, but it puts my PC1 machine in "ERRORS" status

This error means the installation took too long and WAPT stopped after the 1200-second maximum (which is already quite long).

Have you tried running the installation in debug mode with PyScripter?

Hello,

I had the same timeout problem with the Office package offered by Les Fourmis du Web.
The problem mainly occurs when Office 365 is pre-installed on the machine (or older Office modules, like the compatibility pack for Office 2007; it also crashes the 2016 installation).

To work around the problem, I added a routine to the setup.py file of my Office package to remove the Office 365 package or Office modules if they are present on the client machine. (This routine is called in the `def install` function just before running setup.exe /adminfile.)
