For some time now we have been experiencing a major problem with many of our machines.
When our users want to shut down their computer, it gets stuck on "Shutting down" (Windows message). The only solution before clicking "Shut down" is to remove the network cable and then shut down the machine.
The WAPT client is indeed the cause; uninstalling it solves the problem.
