I'm contacting you again because I'm still stuck. This problem has been occurring for a while now:
When I run PyScripter, I get the following message:
"Unable to connect to the remote Python engine. The remote process console and debugger are not accessible."
Consequently, I experience extremely high latency when opening and creating packages.
I've just looked into it seriously, and I've found that I have two Python engines: one in c:\wapt\script\python.exe and the one installed by the python package in c:\python\python.exe.
In PyScripter, one is detected in "Registered Versions" and the other in "Unregistered Versions"...
I'm rereading the documentation to make sure I don't miss anything, and it seems that all that's needed is to install PyScripter and run it as a local administrator.
So I uninstalled everything (PyScripter and Python) and reinstalled only PyScripter, but the problem is still there...
I'm convinced it's some stupid mistake on my part, but I can't figure out what
it is. Could a kind soul shed some light on this?
Thanks
