Hello everyone,
I was looking for a solution to deploy Java and Acrobat Reader updates when I came across this product, which seems to address almost all my needs. However, I can't find any information on deployment scheduling options, so I'm turning to the forum...
Is it possible to schedule deployments, and more importantly, how does it behave when remote machines are unreachable at the time of deployment in the case of a scheduled deployment?
Another question: what ports are used? I have a restriction on inter-VLAN communication.

1- On shutdown via a local GPO (waptexit process)
2- On startup via a GPO or login script (run wapt-get upgrade)
3- By voluntary user action (via an icon in the notification area or a shortcut on the desktop/start menu)
4- By remote triggering by the administrator via the WAPT console if the machine is reachable
5- By scheduling a Windows task...

- HTTP protocol 80 / HTTPS 443 required: clients to WAPT repositories
- HTTPS protocol 443: clients to the WAPT server to retrieve the inventory/status of deployments
- Optional: HTTP or HTTPS protocol on port 8088 by default (other ports possible...) from the WAPT server to clients if you want to trigger updates from the WAPT console.
