what will happen to the Tranquil IT repository https://wapt.tranquil.it/?
Will the packages remain available and compatible with the Community version?

The packages will gradually switch to version 2.0 and will no longer be compatible with 1.8.2. The update of the official Tranquil IT packages will arrive from July 2021. The community can maintain a repository compatible with 1.8.2 if it wishes.

What changes will Wapt Discovery bring compared to Community?

WAPT Discovery will be a proprietary version.
This version will also be limited to 300 workstations.

Is that all? Or will there be other limitations?

Regarding the XP limitation, I would add that it actually applies to all operating systems strictly prior to Windows 7. Recent versions of Python no longer support Windows XP, Windows 2003, Vista, or Windows 2008 (non-R2), and a specific WAPT agent is required for these older operating systems, which will only be available in an enterprise version.

Are there any plans or possibilities to fork the store in its form or to subtract their content (especially the setup script content)?

This information will help in the end to be able to build a community store similar to the current app store.

you can download the Packages files and get all the url to download the existing packages (perhaps filtering on latest version in order to avoid downloading older ones).

I'd like some clarification on the 300-position limit in WAPT Discovery.
Does this mean the database can't hold more than 300 objects?
Or does it mean there can't be more than 300 simultaneous "operations"? I seem to recall a similar limitation in a previous community version.
