Well, okay... I was writing a whole spiel and finally, after yet another attempt, my Windows system went live. I worked on it last night, using nginx, but I can't remember exactly what I did. I don't know if it's relevant, but I must have messed something up when launching postconf.sh.

I'm marking this post as resolved and I'll try to do the same thing on my pre-production environment now.
