[RESOLVED] WAPT 1.5 Update (Windows)

Hello,

following the advice of my WAPT repository, I wanted to update my WAPT server from 1.3.13 to 1.5.

The installation went smoothly, however, I'm having a major problem after installation.

`initdb: could not create directory C:/wapt/waptserver/pgsql_data/pg_xlog: Permission denied`
`initdb: deleting contents of data directory c:/wapt/waptserver/pgsql_data`

Picture screenshot here

I'm not sure what to do...
Thanks

Was the installation successfully launched as administrator?

Yes: right-click on "waptserversetup.exe" and select "Run as administrator."

However, the server hasn't restarted in a very long time.
Should I restart it and relaunch waptserversetup?

Thanks, Simon

You can start by restarting the server; it won't hurt.

Then, indeed, reinstall waptserver as an administrator.

Hello,
Did you perform the installation with your antivirus software enabled?

Ouch,

Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 restarted, I restarted the installation as administrator (no antivirus installed) and I still have the same problem. :(

Can you try running postconf as administrator (waptserverpostconf.exe)?

It's giving me the same error.

So I've run into a problem.

We didn't include the installation of vcredist_x86 in the WaptServer Windows installation

(https://download.microsoft.com/download ... st_x86.exe).

In your case, I can't identify the problem.

I advise you to restore your backup and follow the migration procedure to Linux (

https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/waptserver_u ... ws-a-linux)

or perform a minimal migration (

https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/waptserver_u ... -1-3-a-1-5).
