migration 1.5

Hello,

just a quick update on my migration experience:

first observation, when everything works, it's fantastic! Much faster and much clearer.

However, I did encounter some issues during my migration because I changed the server name and also the domain name... so I had certificate problems...

On my second site, the migration was much faster and simpler, as I started from scratch with the key/certificate.

A huge thank you for the support; I was able to continue my migration despite a slightly difficult day or two. It allowed me to finish it! GREAT.

Congratulations Stenon on your success!

Hello everyone, WAPT friends and forum readers.

Indeed, the implementation of security measures in WAPT and the accompanying architectural changes make the 1.3 to 1.5 migration a little less straightforward than usual.

As a reminder, Tranquil IT offers assistance with the upgrade; it's a turnkey solution for €600 (excluding VAT), and it also gives you the opportunity to meet the team behind the software and receive accelerated, on-the-job training on certificate principles and how they work. So, all the more reason to call us at +33 (0) 240 975 755.

Finally, even though the WAPT Community version is free, our developers, testers, documentation writers, and the Tranquil IT staff who answer your questions on this forum have families to support. Therefore, paying a small fee isn't a bad thing; it's your assurance that a free version of the software will continue to exist.

Many organizations, including colleges, high schools, public administrations, and private companies, have already benefited from this service to accelerate their adoption of this new Community version. As a reminder, this support is included for those who subscribe to an Enterprise plan.

If you find it difficult to secure financial support for any reason, then write articles, blog posts, and spread the word. WAPT is a real success, yet no trace of this success can be found online beyond this forum.

Sincerely,

Vincent
