[RESOLVED] WAPT 1.5 - Network Scan Tools Not Available

Hello,

In version 1.5, I can no longer find the option to scan the network to find new machines.

Am I seeing things incorrectly, or is the tool no longer available?

Thank you

Could you be more specific about what you mean by "possibility of network scanning to find new machines"?

If you are referring to the "trigger host scan" button (I don't remember the translation we used) which was located in the button bar at the top of the console, then that's normal.

Indeed, with the switch to 1.5, WAPT agents now create WebSocket connections to the server, whereas in 1.3 the server scanned open ports 8088 on client workstation addresses to see if they were reachable.

Sincerely,

Denis

Hello,

Yes, I'm referring to this issue. During the migration between versions 1.3 and 1.5, we rely on the application of the GPO to obtain the agent update. However, this is dependent on machine restarts. Do you have a way to request the agent update from all machines?

Thank you
