Hello,

I'm having trouble with a particular package, but this could also apply to others. I installed the "screenhunter" package using the self-serving web interface. However, when I remove the package, it's still present in C:\Program Files (x86)\Widsom-soft ScreenHunter 6.0 Free.
The .exe file is still running even though I've uninstalled the package.
Is there a way to ensure that it can be completely uninstalled by users without leaving any traces?

Thank you in advance.

There's a slight error in the terminology. It's not the package itself that's always present (wapt-get list), but the software itself. WAPT tries to offer default uninstallation parameters, but there are cases where the automatically found parameter isn't correct, or the uninstaller simply isn't silent at all... In this case, you need to perform a manual uninstallation procedure in the setup.py file.

If you have been using the package from https://wapt.tranquil.it/package_detail ... 1_all.wapt and if you find the correct combination for uninstallation, feel free to report it so that we can correct the package.

Sincerely,

Denis

Thank you for your reply, I will try modifying the setup.py file then.
