[SOLVED] WaptExit Windows 7 Bug

Hello,
Since upgrading to version 1.7.4.6077 of WAPT Community, I've been having a problem with WaptExit.
It crashes when shutting down Windows 7 PCs.
I don't have any software updates to install, but WaptExit remains stuck and I can't click the button to close the window.
I have to shut down the PC manually using the power button.
This problem occurs randomly. A PC that crashes today will certainly shut down tomorrow!
I didn't have this issue with version 1.7.3.5.
Do you have any idea what the problem might be?
Thank you,

there anyone who can help me?
Can I leave the server at version 1.7.4.6077 and revert the Wapt agent to version 1.7.3.5?

Hello,
Yes, you can revert to version 1.7.3.5.
However, if you have reproducible cases, it would be very helpful if you could test the latest version of Wapt on those cases.

Install only waptsetup.exe on one of the machines experiencing the problem...

I'm testing your version on a PC.
However, how do I reinstall version 1.7.3.5 on PCs? By changing the version number in the "control" file?
But because of that, I'm forced to put a number higher than 1.7.4.6077 in "control" even though I'm installing 1.7.3.5!

To do it properly, you must follow these steps in order:
- remove the waptupgrade packages from the wapt server (except for version 1.7.3.5)
- run an update on all machines
- uninstall the waptupgrade package from all machines (select all machines and in the package list, right-click on xxx-waptupgrade / uninstall the package)
- run an update on all machines
- run a "forced" installation of the xxx-waptupgrade 1.7.3.5 package on all machines (select all machines and in the package status list on the right, right-click on xxx-waptupgrade / force installation).
Alternatively, you can also force a higher version number in xxx-waptupgrade and force the installation.

I just tried version 1.7.4.6119.
The problem persists; I'm still experiencing a crash during shutdown.
The PC seemed to be working fine (four shutdowns without issue) until I tried installing new software.
WAPT successfully installed the software, and the PC shut down correctly.
After restarting the PC, it crashed again during the shutdown process

I can confirm that version 1.7.4.6119 does not fix my problem.
It seems that WaptExit is failing to close, which prevents Windows from shutting down.
Am I the only one experiencing this issue?
Do you have another version I could try?

I tried repeatedly rebooting packages while they were waiting to be installed.
I encountered a deadlock (a task processing thread for the service crashed) if I simultaneously launched a global uninstallation of packages from the console, including one whose uninstallation was stuck (a buggy installer).
I unfroze it remotely via the console using the command "Start Wapt Service Restart" (this creates a scheduled task that restarts the service 2 minutes later). This means that in my case, waptexit was waiting but not crashed, and that the waptservice thread handling console actions was also running.
What state is waptexit in in your case? Is it frozen? Or are you able to unfroze it like I did?

I tried your solution from the console.
But it doesn't work because WaptExit is indeed frozen.
I can only move the window. I can't click the "Not Now" button or the close button.
Windows remains stuck on "Shutting Down.
Just to clarify, my PC is still marked as available in the server console.

I just encountered this issue on a Windows 7 machine; the shutdown doesn't complete, and clicking "not now" doesn't respond
