WAPT-Exit

- Debian Stretch server OS
- Operating system of the administration/package creation machine (Windows 10)

Good morning,

I just realized there's been a problem for the last 1 or 2 weeks: wapt-exit isn't working on our machines.

During shutdown or reboot, the WAPT-exit window appears very quickly and closes immediately, even though there are packages waiting to be installed.

I have not made any modifications that could prevent it from working properly.

I tried forcing an installation and restarting the machine; the wapt-exit command executed correctly

Here is the wapt-get.ini file for the wapt-exit part:

Code: Select all

max_gpo_script_wait= 180
pre_shutdown_timeout= 180
hiberboot_enabled= 0
notify_user = 0
allow_cancel_upgrade = 0
I don't see anything in the logs.

Speaking of logs, I have a colleague who can't connect to the console even though the connection to AD works; he's the only one who won't work. I can't find any logs that can point me towards the problem.

PS: I don't know if I should use the forum or open a support ticket.

Thank you

Hi Mathieu,

the problem is related to `allow_cancel_upgrade` (a bug recently discovered)

. I plan to release a fix soon.

For the AD connection, you can contact us directly, ;)

Simon.

Thank you

, do you have a deadline or should we set the value to 1 while waiting for the correction?

I released a version last night that fixes the problem (I just haven't made an announcement yet)

Following the update and application of the new agent, WAPT-Exit is working normally.

All that remains is to manually install it on the entire network.
