Remote execution of session-setup

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to run (from the console, for example) the session-setup for users remotely?
After installing certain packages, I'd like to avoid having to wait until the next day (when the user logs back in) to run the session-setup. Some programs shouldn't be run by the user until the session-setup for that package has been executed beforehand.

I was thinking of using a scheduled task that would run every x minutes to perform "wapt-get session-setup ALL", but I don't know if there's a better solution.

Regards,
Christophe.

The feature is planned with a better level of control in a future version of WAPT Enterprise, if Enterprise is of interest to you and you can wait a little while.

The idea is very good in any case because we had also thought of it to cover use cases similar or identical to those you imagined.

Simon, can you confirm?

Sincerely.

Vincent

Hello Vincent,

I'm already on the Enterprise version, so I just have to wait for this feature. :D

Thank you for your reply.

Christophe.
