Hello,
a big THANK YOU to the maintainers!
Have you noticed that a new version of CCleaner is available on the web?
They're up to version 5.28, while it's 5.23 in the repositories
.

Good morning
The tis-ccleaner package is a well-made package ^^
It has a section:
Code: Select all
if __name__ == '__main__':
update_package()
This means you can update the package very easily yourself.
To do this, if you haven't already done so, install the waptdev package on your computer:
https://wapt.fr/fr/doc/CreationPaquets/ ... index.html
Then right-click on the ccleaner package in your private repository and select edit:
https://wapt.fr/fr/doc/Utilisation/util ... epot-prive
When PyScripter opens, in the setup.py section (in the tabs at the bottom), simply press CTRL+F9
The package updates itself automatically.
All that remains is to perform a test installation and then a build-upload
https://wapt.fr/fr/doc/CreationPaquets/ ... oad-direct
Right-click on build-upload on the left and then click on run.
Enter the username, --> admin
Then, on the next window, enter the password.

The CCleaner package has been updated to version 5.34; previous versions were removed due to CCleaner being compromised by a "Supply Chain" attack
Details of the attack are available here:
It is imperative to remove the CCleaner package version 5.33.6162 If you have it in your repository, import the update to be safe from infection.
Sincerely,
Alexander
