Installing Python for a Wapt server

Hello everyone,

I started installing and configuring WAPT 1.5 on a Windows Server 2019 a few days ago.

I find the WAPT tool very useful and the WAPT client easy to use.

So far, I've used packages from the internet, which have already been created.

I started encountering difficulties when I had to create my own WAPT packages with software internal to my company.

The main problem I'm having is certainly not WAPT's fault, but my lack of knowledge of Python.

I keep getting error messages saying that Python packages are missing. Of course, when a package is missing, I install it, but sometimes the package simply doesn't exist.

Naturally, I've looked for a guide on how to configure Python for WAPT, but I haven't found anything, neither in forums nor on official websites.

My question is, is there a script or a complete guide to install Python so that WAPT works without any problems?

Hoping you have a good day,

Balkghar

Hello,

Before you go any further, update, or better yet, reinstall your server with version 1.8.1. Version 1.5 is almost 3 years old.

WAPT works very well, even for specific business applications, even the most complex ones.

Regards,

Vincent

Can you be more specific, are the errors in pyscripter?
