How are new versions of packages downloaded from the WAPT store deployed?

Hello,

I'm new to WAPT and discovering its incredible capabilities. :)

I downloaded a package from the WAPT store (from my console); it's tis-adobereader (version 2020.9.20067-42).
When a new version of the package is released (linked to a new version of Adobe Reader), could you tell me how to push this update to my client machines?
Do I need to delete my current package (version 2020.9.20067-42), then download the new tis-adobereader, and then install this new version on my client machines?

I looked in the online documentation (https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/), but I didn't find any specific information on this.

Sincerely,
Ed

There's nothing to do except download the new version. :D
It will be automatically updated on computers that had the old version.

As nliaudat points out, it works like apt-get or yum on Linux. If the package is installed and a new version with the same name and similar options (arch, os, lang, etc.) is available in the repository, it will automatically download and install it.

Therefore, care must be taken for large-scale parks with remote sites that have low bandwidth.
