[SOLVED] Uninstalling and reactivating Windows Update

I tested WAPT during the period in May when licenses were being given away during the lockdown. I just uninstalled the agent from two servers... I had to restart the Windows Update service, which isn't a problem in itself, but I still can't check for updates or change settings... these operations are reserved for an administrator account, which is the account I'm using. Could you help me?
Thank you.

Hello,
what operating system are you using?
Did you install:
https://store.wapt.fr/store/tis-fix-dis ... ows-update?
Could we contact you to look into this (send me your number in a private message)?
Regards,
Jimmy

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
These are 2008R2 servers -
I'm fairly certain I haven't installed the package you mentioned.
I'll try to send you a private message.

OM

Hi again,
After a bit of searching, I found this registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate.
It seems to be working again.
