WAPT client for Debian ARM 32bit

Good morning,

I'm trying to install a repository on a Raspberry Pi, which is running on Buster.

After adding the company repository with our credentials, when updating the available packages, I get the following message:

Code: Select all

Do you have a solution?

THANKS.

Hello,

the agent is not currently available for ARM.

We've received a growing number of requests for this, so we'll be preparing it for future versions.

Hello Simon,

Our decision to upgrade to the enterprise version stems from our meeting with Tranquil IT at the FIC in Lille. During that discussion, we learned that it's possible to install the client on a Raspberry Pi.

It even seems you sold boxes containing a Pi and a hard drive for a while.

Do you have any idea when the agent will be available?

I'm currently working on an ARM builder.

Could you please tell me your Raspberry Pi version and distribution? (Debian 9/10)

For the testing phase, I'm using a Raspberry Pi Model B Plus on a Debian 10 Buster system

Hi Jonathan,

actually the old sync method (based on Syncthing) works well on remote repositories in Raspbian. However, the new method incorporates more intelligence and requires the WAPT agent for Linux to be installed. Nothing blocking there, we just need to add a Raspbian instance to the buildbot.

I just added a Raspberry Pi 4 running Raspbian 10 32-bit to the build farm. I'll check with Evan about publishing a WAPT Enterprise build soon.

Best regards,

Denis

Hello Denis,

Thank you, in the meantime I am carrying out my tests on a Debian system and a workstation.
