Windows update and application store

Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this.
I have a question:
I can no longer install applications from the Microsoft Store, nor can I even manually check for updates from the system settings.

Here is the list of packages installed on my computer:
webex, vlc, schedule-wapt-update, remove-app-windows-appx, keepass, firefox-multi, emocheck, dotnetfx3.5 and 4.8, dopdf, disable-telemetry, disable-cortana, disable-autoruns, chrome, audit-admin-local, adobereader, adoeair, 7zip.

Do you have any explanation?
The screenshot below shows the message that appears when I try to install an application from the Store.

Hi MathieuL,

WAPT Windows Update disables the Windows Update services on the machine to prevent it from making direct connections to Microsoft (for example, at one point it was automatically initiating the upgrade from Windows 10 to the next version...). In fact, it's not just one service that's affected; there are up to four (why make it simple when you can make it complicated?). The only way we found to avoid this behavior was to disable Windows Update, which hasn't been a problem so far because almost no one uses the Windows Store in the workplace.

One option is to deploy the Windows Store app through a WAPT package; there's a setuphelper that allows you to temporarily re-enable it.

Regards,

Denis

Hello,
thank you for your feedback.
Actually, this detail has only affected a few people here so far.
I have a few people who use the native Photos app with some add-ons (for example, the Media Engine add-on, or something like that, I'm going from memory).
For these people, the update of this add-on is therefore still pending.

Furthermore, with remote work, some have installed their personal printers on their computers.
At this precise moment, the following brands (in cases I've encountered) are installing their "store" apps to help with the use and configuration of these printers: seen for Toshiba and HP so far.
These apps are therefore not installing... and remain pending.

So here's my problem.
