[SOLVED] WAPT authentication problem

Hello,

I'm having trouble logging into the WAPT server I installed. After the installation, which seems to go smoothly, I reach the WAPT authentication tab, enter my credentials, but I can't connect. Here's the error message I get: => Error on WAPT server: Socket Error # 11001 Host not found. I'm using a freshly reinstalled Windows 10 with WAPT version 1.8.2.

What's strange is that I tested the same installer (waptserversetup.exe) on another machine also running Windows 10, and it worked perfectly. I was able to log in and manage my agents through the WAPT console without any issues.

Thank you for your help.

Host not found: Could the machine's DNS name, or its IP address (if the name was not resolvable), have changed?

Perhaps it changed because the machine is using DHCP for the IP address and DNS is set to automatic.

The first time I installed waptserversetup on the machine, it was also using DHCP and automatic DNS. I was able to access the console without any problems. Then I reinstalled Windows 10 Pro on the machine, and that's when I lost access to the WAPT console and received the error message.
