Problem: Deploying Windows updates from secondary repositories and rules
Published: September 3, 2021 - 4:04 PM
Wapt OS Server: CentOS Linux 7
Wapt Console: 2.0.0.9428 on Windows 10
Wapt Secondary Repositories: Windows 10
Agent 2.0.0.9428
Hello,
I'm having a problem with WAPT and/or WUA updates from my secondary repositories.
I have a main site where the server is installed.
I have three other sites where I've installed repositories on Windows 10.
Synchronization between these three sites and the main site occurs at night.
I then created rules that specify which site the update should be performed based on the agent's IP address.
My problem is that when I launch an installation or want to update the wsusscan2.cab file (for example), the agent connects and downloads the file(s) from the main site and therefore ignores the rules I created.
Are there any specific parameters I need to configure on the agents?
Are there any log files I could look at to see where the problem is coming from?
Thank you
Sincerely,
Jérôme
