Syntax error in control file: WAPT console crash
Published: September 16, 2021 - 10:05 AM
WAPT Community 1.8.2.7267
Server OS: Debian 10
Administration machine OS: Windows 10 1809
I modified version 4 of a package by specifying the installed_size information in the control file: I entered 808 MB instead of just 808 (this field only accepts an integer value). The console then indicated the syntax error without crashing.
I then corrected my error by modifying the package, specifying 808 MB instead of 808, which incremented the version of my package to v5.
In the Software Repository tab, when the "Last version only" option is checked, everything works correctly.
But when I uncheck this option, specifically to clean things up and remove outdated package versions (including version v4), it crashes the console. (In addition, the Tasks tab temporarily disappeared, as did the ability to click "Apply Package.")
Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how did you resolve it?
Thank you in advance for your help.
