WAPT WUA - KB Windows 10 21H1

Hello,

I have some questions about how Wapt WUA works.
I can see that Wapt downloads .cab files from Microsoft since we upgraded to the Enterprise version (2.1.1).
However, there are very few KBs available for Windows. Our main goal is to upgrade all our PCs to 21H1, but the KB isn't there. We had a WSUS server where we could see all the KBs.

Do we only see the KBs available since WUA was activated, and not the older ones?
Why do I have so few KBs?

Perhaps it's because our WSUS server is still active?

Thank you.

Hello,

Regarding major Windows updates, you need to use a WAPT package. See:

https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/wapt-console ... s-upgrades and
https://wapt.tranquil.it/store/tis-windows10-upgrade

. As for the number of KBs detected, Windows 10 now uses cumulative packages, which drastically reduces the number of KBs.

Furthermore, since WAPT version 2.1, KBs are automatically removed from the general WUA inventory when they are no longer seen by any machine.
This explains the number of CABs in your inventory.

Every month, Microsoft releases new CABs for Windows 10; the updates are released sequentially and replace previous updates.
