Hello,
I would like to know the expected release date of Wapt Discovery?
If I try Wapt Enterprise, what happens after the trial period ends (one month) if Wapt Discovery hasn't been released by then?
Happy holidays!

Hello,

We are hopeful that WAPT Discovery will be released in early 2022. However, this version does not yet have an official release date.

We are currently implementing numerous fixes for WAPT version 2.2. Therefore, we want WAPT Discovery to benefit from these improvements before making it available.

At the end of your WAPT Enterprise trial period, WAPT will simply switch to the Community version, and the features specific to the Enterprise version will no longer be available.

Please feel free to contact our sales department; it is quite common to extend the trial period if needed.

I hope this answers your questions. I remain available to discuss further.

Have a good day and happy holidays!

Emmanuel

Thank you for your reply, which I don't understand: wapt Enterprise 2.1 doesn't have the same source code as wapt Community 1.8!
How will this switchover take place?
Congratulations on your product.
Happy holidays

Thank you for your feedback on our solution.

Indeed, the two versions are different. Since

Python 2.7 is no longer supported, we took advantage of the transition to WAPT version 2.0 to integrate Python 3 into the core of the software. Furthermore, the move to Python 3 allows us to support new Python 3 libraries.

Using our documentation, you should be able to make the switch. However, the new version of Python relies on new encryption libraries, so you will need to resign all of your packages. It is also possible that some of your packages are not compatible with Python 3 syntax. You will therefore need to correct these packages to make them compatible with Python 3 and then redeploy them across your network.
