Wapt Server and DNS

Hello,
I manage the IT infrastructure for a high school with approximately 550 workstations.
Your solution is very interesting, so we will test it quickly.
Ultimately, if the product is successful, we will likely install it on an existing Windows Server 2008 R2 server that already has a workstation management solution.
However, according to the provided documentation, it is recommended to name the WAPT server srvwapt and create a CNAME alias from wapt to srvwapt.
Assuming my server is named serveurlycee, can we install the WAPT service on it, knowing that the A record will be serveurlycee, and then create a CNAME alias from wapt to serveurlycee ? Or does the server necessarily have to be named srvwapt ?
Thank you in advance for your reply.
