Search by software version

Hello,

I have a quick question regarding searches on the WAPT console. Is it possible to search for a software name with a specific version number?

For example, if I search for "FileZilla 3.7.3", WAPT will simply return a list of computers with FileZilla installed, without considering the requested version (3.7.3 in this example). I would like to display only the computers with FileZilla 3.7.3 installed.

Is this possible?

Thank you very much.

Patrice

Hi Patrice,

I think it's possible. In the console, there's a "Search" field (top left) when you're in the "Inventory" tab.

Just type "filezilla" (or the name of your package without the version number), then press "Enter" or click "Search for a machine."

You'll then see a list of all the machines where FileZilla is installed.

My method works with WAPT 1.2.3; I don't know if it works for other versions.
