[RESOLVED] Data migration to new installation

Hello,
I've searched everywhere, but is there any documentation that allows me to import data and history from version 1.8 into a fresh 2.2 installation?

Hello Joël,
the easiest way is to update your existing installation and then migrate it to a new installation using the backup and restore documentation.

It works... it's indirectly related to the topic

I tried backing up/restoring from version 1.8 to version 2.2, but I'm having a problem upgrading the database version.
I got my answer in that thread. The rest of the solution for the database upgrade is in the other thread.
