[RESOLVED] OS Deployment
Published: September 28, 2022 - 12:05 PM

Hello,
When deploying the OS to a machine via IPXE, a message about certificate verification appears, then nothing else happens.
Is the problem with my certificate?
How can I bypass this issue and continue the OS deployment?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Anthony

Can you rerun the last command without the "start" so that the error message remains?

Thank you for your feedback.
Here is the error message.
I believe I saw in some of your threads that if the ISO file is too large, it can cause this type of malfunction. Is that correct?

If you're using a standard Windows 10 ISO, there shouldn't be any problem.
You'd need to check on the server to see if the file actually exists, since it's a 404 error.

Okay,
and which directory do I go to to check if the file actually exists on a Linux server?
Sorry, I'm not an expert in this area.
Thanks for your help.

The file must be located at /var/www/wads/iso. The filename is its SHA256 hash.
Do you see the ISO in question referenced in the WAPT console?

Denis

Hello Denis,
there's absolutely nothing in the /var/www/wads/iso folder...
Yes, my image was successfully integrated into the WAPT console

After analyzing the logs, I realize (as in a previous thread,
viewtopic.php?t=2989&start=20)
that the ISO file size is too large to be imported. However, it does appear in the WAPT console.
How can I modify the size of this body? Specifically, which file on the server should I modify?
Thank you in advance for your help.

You can check the `client_max_body_size` in the nginx file.
The ISO must have been modified; the base Microsoft ISO isn't that large.

Denis

Found it, it can be configured in the file /etc/nginx/sites-available/wapt.conf (for those who might encounter the same problem).
After restarting the server (because restarting the nginx service is not enough) the iso is downloading.
All that's left is to cross our fingers...
Thank you for your help
