Windows updates

Hello everyone,
apologies in advance if this topic has already been discussed, but I haven't seen it (I think) addressed here:
in the Windows Update tab on my computers, some seem to be having trouble retrieving the latest WSUS index file. Consequently, these computers are having difficulty finding and installing the latest Windows updates.
For your information, these computers are receiving the latest scan requests (for example, today), but the WSUS index file shows September 9th.
How can I force an update of this index file?
Thank you in advance
.

The wsusscn2.cab file is downloaded every night (and replicated to the secondary repositories depending on your replication mode).
This is done by the server's WaptTasks service.
You can see its download in "View download history" in the Windows Update section.
You can force its download by clicking "Download the wsusscan cab from the Microsoft website."
The workstation then checks during its scan to see if a new file is available on the server and downloads it accordingly.

Hello,
thank you for your reply.
The WAPT server is downloading correctly.
My question is why some workstations don't have this file updated. Or how can I force an update of this index file so that during subsequent scans, the workstations know which Windows updates to install?
Sincerely,

's very strange
; do you perhaps have secondary repositories?

Yes, two. But in different subnets.
The machine in the screenshot is in a subnet that doesn't depend on a secondary repository server

Hello,
if this helps:
when checking for Windows updates:
-----------------------------
Downloading wsusscn2.cab file from https://
Looking for updates with filter: Type='Software' or Type='Driver'
Connecting to local update searcher using offline wsusscn2 file...
Offline Update searcher ready...
--------------------------
I have the impression that the download isn't working properly. I just tested the URL and the .cab file downloads correctly.
So wapt seems to be using the local cached file without having updated it

if you download from the machine https://
And in
C:\Program Files (x86)\wapt\cache\wsusscn2.cab
the sha256 hash should be in the format a SHA256: d477edf61e8018c047e11460cbc9c2f58212086ff9b6f6c67363b00347e30339
value of December 2022
Is this the case?

Hello,
yes, the download is working.
To update my system, I pushed the .cab file directly into the cache directory, then ran another scan to search for updates.
So the system status is now more or less correct, and I'm monitoring the progress.
But it's as if the download step isn't completing properly and it's immediately going to the cache.
Perhaps an agent update is needed?
