Hello,
I updated to version 2.3 and my WAPT agent also updated.
I'm encountering two problems.
The first is that, in addition to the agent (self), it's installing the console on my clients.
Secondly, it's causing my logos to disappear.
How can I fix this, please?

Hi Yann,

regarding the console, it was actually already installed by default in previous versions (but you can't do anything with it without the server password and signing key, of course). What's changed is the entry in the Start menu. Previously,

the icon was added by default when waptsetup.exe was installed, but not when waptagent.exe was installed (the agent recompiled in the console during the initial installation or upgrade).

With version 2.3, the agent is no longer recompiled during the upgrade, so it's the same waptsetup.exe (whether or not it has the client configuration) that's installed. Therefore, the link to the console is added to the menu each time.

We'll look into fixing this quickly. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Regarding the icon, the problem is that it was copied from the administrator's machine when waptagent.exe was regenerated, but since waptagent.exe is no longer regenerated, it's gone. Now you have to use the logo configuration package to push it. There is a package (I'll look up the name).

However, something puzzles me: did you lose the logo on existing machines, or on new ones?

. Indeed, I saw that on the old agent, by looking at the code, the console was also quite advanced; I had never noticed, sorry.
If I no longer want it in the shortcut in the Start menu, can I remove the code that adds it?
Regarding the logo, that's correct, it's only on new machines and on the latest version of the agent (2.3). The others have retained it.
