[RESOLVED] Using the "LAPS BY WAPT" package(s)

Hello,

Before implementing laps (by MS), I used the smp-laps-made-in-wapt package (lesfourmisduweb.org):
- it worked OK
- requires PyScripter to display passwords
- no automatic renewal.

Now there's the tis-laps-by-wapt package in the store:
- automatic renewal
- multi-language.

However... how do I retrieve the workstation password?

General note about setup.py files: more comments on how the packages work would be appreciated.

Best regards,

Julien

Hello

, the package has a call to the function "write_audit_data_if_changed",

so you should find it in the "Audit Data" tab of the workstation.

If you don't have the Audit Data tab, you can display it by going to "View", "Display Preferences", "Show Audit Data Tab".

In the Audit Data tab, you have a " Decrypt Data" which allows you to display the decrypted value.

Hello,

I'm marking this topic as resolved. We'll see later about adding further explanations about the store.

I'd like to add to Simon's explanation that audit management is part of WAPT Enterprise.

If you have a personal blog, feel free to mention the package.

Regards,

Denis
