Automatic resolution of dependencies / forced installation / submission

Hello,

I have three questions:

1) I would like to know if we are required to include dependencies in the packages sent to the machine, or if the machine is capable of automatically retrieving and installing them from the repository.

2) Can we force the installation/reinstallation of packages even if the console is convinced it has already done so (e.g., when the machine has been inadvertently deleted by the user, or if it has undergone a system restore)?

3) Where can we submit packages to the community to expand the available software base and improve at the same time (if there is a validation process before submission)?

Thank you.

1) I would like to know if we are obliged to put the dependencies in the packages to be sent to the machine, or if the machine is capable of taking them from the repository and installing them itself.
In all cases, the machine retrieves the packages from the repository itself, either through dependencies or because a new version is available.
The standard way of working is to use dependencies.
If a package (projectlibre example) needs Java, we but the java package depends on the projectlibre package.
So if we install projectlibre, the machine will automatically install the java package beforehand.
2) Can we force the installation/reinstallation of packages even if the console is convinced it has already done so (e.g., when the machine has suffered an unauthorized deletion by the user, or if it has undergone a system restore)?
command line:
wapt-get --force install<lepaquet>

or from the console:
Right-click on the package in the list of installed packages. And choose "Forget".
At the next update/upgrade, the package should be reinstalled if it was in the machine's dependencies.
