Hello,

We use MDT for image management of our workstations. When we recreate workstations, we retrieve the packages previously installed on those machines. Is there a way to automatically purge these dependencies?

Hi Michael,

WAPT is here to help you think about new methods, like putting towels on the left and dishcloths on the right.

With WAPT, there's no need to overload the image with anything other than a clean Windows ISO because with WAPT you can immediately install anything you want beyond just the ISO.

Hello,
my question was more along the lines of how packages were installed on the machine during its use. The goal is to remove these dependencies from the machine so it can be used for something else.

If I understand correctly, you want to forget all the WAPT packages.

In your case, the simplest solution in the command prompt is to stop the WAPT service,

then run `C:\Program Files (x86)\wapt\db\waptdb.sqlite`,

and then restart the service.

But I don't really see the point.

Or perhaps I misunderstood, and it's simply the machine package that reinstalls all the dependencies?

In that case, you need to remove this machine package via the WAPT console.

Yes, it's about removing all the packages that this machine depends on, as if we were deleting the post from the WAPT console and starting from scratch.
