[SOLVED] Business -> Discovery

Good morning,

I upgraded yesterday from 2.4.x to 2.5.4.15342

Server: Linux Debian 12
Console: Windows 10 and 2019

I think I've lost Enterprise mode.
I removed/reloaded my license. It is recognized, but I get the following:

Code: Select all

root@wapt:/opt/wapt#  wapt-get waptwua-scan
Using config file: /opt/wapt/wapt-get.ini
FATAL ERROR : Exception: waptwua is not available on this computer. Enterprise feature only
root@wapt:/opt/wapt#
Same from a Windows machine where the console is located.

The wapt-get.ini file was empty in version 2.4 and remained so in version 2.5.
I added:

Code: Select all

root@wapt:/opt/wapt# cat /opt/wapt/wapt-get.ini
[global]

[waptwua]
enabled = True
default_allow = False
direct_download = False
download_scheduling = 7d
install_at_shutdown = True
install_scheduling = 12h
install_delay = 3d
That changes nothing.

Any ideas?

Best regards,

Joel Marchand

Hi Joël,

did you successfully run the postconf and accept the nginx file update? There are some changes to the nginx file regarding access to the license file.

Denis

Hello,

Ah, thank you very much!

Yes, I hadn't answered YES to the Nginx configuration update suggestion.

I just restarted the postconf tool and that solved my problem.

The only downside was that the new Nginx configuration generated by postconf pointed to the private key pair, and no longer to the public certificate key pair I had set. But anyway, a simple manual modification fixed everything.

Thanks again.

Best regards,

Hi Joël,

thanks for the feedback. As WAPT evolves, the nginx configuration changes, and we don't really have a good solution for managing configuration modifications that sysadmins might have made on their machines outside of WAPT.

The files are saved with each modification, which makes it easy to apply any changes you might have made.

In a future version, we will remove the YES/NO question and force the file update, while also displaying a message if the file has been modified, indicating that the changes will need to be applied manually.

I'm marking this topic as RESOLVED.

Best regards,

Denis
