[SOLVED] waptexit does not display when the computer is shut down

Good morning

We use this configuration:
WAPT company 2.5.4.15342

I can't get the GUI to display waptexit system stopped.

In the GPOs I do have:

Display the instructions for shutdown scripts during their execution on Not configured

The hiberboot/fast startup is good disabled

The shutdown script does contain waptexit and its script.ini file is correctly filled.

Afterwards, when I launch wpatexit.exe directly, nothing happens; I don't know if that's normal.

Is there a way to obtain logs for this program?

Furthermore, I wanted to install packages according to their priority, but I don't quite understand what is indicated here:
https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/wapt-package ... e.html#id3

This option is: Not currently supported
Sets the WAPT package installation priority (optional).

This option is not currently supported. This field will be used to set the package installation priority. This feature will be useful for defining mandatory security updates.
That means the option priority It doesn't work?

THANKS

Hello Yann83,

are the machines running Windows Pro or Home? (See client OS in forum rules). Are they in an Active Directory domain? Are they in a SambaEdu or Eole NT4 domain?

Do the other Group Policy Objects (GPOs) work when the machine shuts down?

The priority parameter is not implemented because it made the dependency calculation engine too complex. If you need one package to install with another, it's probably because there's a strong dependency relationship.

Regards,

Denis

Hello,

This is a WAPT Enterprise 2.5.4 server (version 15342)
on a CentOS 7 server with Windows 10 22H2 Pro clients.

The machines are in a Microsoft Active Directory domain, and the other shutdown GPOs are working.

If I manually run `waptexit`, should a window normally appear?

Hello Yann83,

if there are updates to install or new packages to install, then it will be displayed. If there's nothing to do, it hasn't been displayed for a few versions now.

Denis

Ah, that explains it. I was waiting to see the window stop, but there was nothing waiting.
Okay, I'll take another look at it.
