We are currently setting up WADS at home, and we haven't encountered any particular difficulties; everything is working correctly.

However, we have one request: when booting via iPXE, after entering the hostname, the machine appears in the WAPT/WADS console. We then select the machine's configuration in the console, configure the disk formatting, and prepare the djoin. By the time we've done this, the machine has already rebooted, and we then have to perform a full restart (this process adds a small amount of time).

Is it possible to add a pause time to the PXE boot (for example, 15 minutes?) before the machine restarts at the end of the iPXE inventory addition process?

, you register the machine via IPXE or via WinPE (choice in the menu).

With WinPE, at the end, it offers to retry in a loop until the machine is waiting for deployment.

Sorry for the late reply. Simon's answer partially addresses my issue.

Let me explain: we have some PC models (ASUS, to be precise) for which selecting WinPE (x64) in the boot options works perfectly.

BUT we also have HP PCs, and for all our HP models, the only supported PXE mode is iPXE. In fact, for these models, the boot option is never offered for some reason I don't know...

So I'm not sure how to proceed with these machines other than booting the machine, entering its hostname, configuring it in the WAPT console, and then hard rebooting the machine (because it boots from the manufacturer's Windows installation) to boot it in iPXE mode. Then the WADS installation starts with the correct configuration.

If you have any tips for this type of PC, I'd be very grateful.
