[SOLVED] Lapse for Linux?

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there's currently a package that provides a "Laps" for Linux? Since
root accounts often retain the same passwords, it might be useful to have a Linux equivalent of WAPT's Laps to ensure passwords aren't too simple and are changed frequently to mitigate any risks.
Has anyone already implemented a similar solution?
Thanks!

Hello,
there's a package on the store:
https://wapt.tranquil.it/store/fr/detai ... _PROD.wapt
tis-laps-by-wapt exists for Windows and Linux (we should make it for macOS too).

Ah great!
Thanks Simon, and is there any risk in deploying LAPS By wapt on the server that hosts WAPT? (silly question)

Hi Guillaume,
in case of problems with the WAPT server, it's still important to have a way to resolve the issue with root or sudoer access. So, it can be installed on the WAPT server, but with caution.

Denis

Thanks Denis, we're trying to use WAPT to harden our Linux environment (SSH keys, account passwords, etc.).
We'll keep WAPT in mind, thanks for the advice.

I would add that for Linux, an SSH key connection is obviously recommended. (Here, we no longer connect with passwords) SSH key only.
