[SOLVED] MS Edge: It's still not working!

Good morning
Since you implemented scheduled task management in the MS Edge package, I have been getting installation errors all the time.
Example with the most recent one (131.0.2903.112-46):

Code: Select all

Installing: MicrosoftEdgeEnterpriseX64.msi (131.0.2903.112)
Waiting for key: {D8A6BB3B-CDD1-3B3E-B1CB-89329C55D211} to appear in Windows registry
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "C:\Program Files (x86)\wapt\common.py", line 4294, in install_wapt
    exitstatus = setup.install()
File "C:\Windows\TEMP\wapt3km0znqs\setup.py", line 86, in install
TypeError: string indices must be integers

TypeError: string indices must be integers
With each new package, I am forced to remove the two blocks (before and after installation) that manage this.

I am counting on you to correct this flawed management :)

Sincerely,
Tom

Hello,

I've modified the Edge package to better handle scheduled tasks.
The package is currently and will be available on the store tomorrow.

Please give us your feedback on the changes,

Flavien.

Everything looks OK, I'm closing the ticket.

Thank you!

Hi Thomas,

thanks for the feedback :-)

Denis.

PS: Hoping Microsoft doesn't change its operating methods again in the next Edge release... :-)
