Good morning,

At the administration console level, we have a visualization of the WUA status, which can be either: "need-scan", "pending_updates", "error" or "OK".
However, even if the endpoint is "ok" in the WUA column, in its "Windows Update" tab you may sometimes see "Waiting to start".

To optimize administration (especially for servers), would it be possible to have the "Need-reboot" information on the general interface (left-hand table) in the WUA column?

The information appears in the inventory. This value can be dragged and dropped into the machine inventory to add a column.

Good day,
Bertrand

That's what I did, but it adds a column when there's already one that shows a WUA status.

Hi Cédric,

the status in the WUA column is the one returned by the Microsoft wuauserv installation engine, and the other is the one recorded in the registry. It's true that we could "override" the wuauserv engine status and use the registry status, knowing that this status must also have been updated by the same engine (which seems to be a bit schizophrenic)...

Regards,

Denis

Request taken into account in version 2.6.0.17177, that's GREAT, thank you :)
