[SOLVED] Modifying a machine's FQDN
Published: March 31, 2025 - 5:24 PM
Hello,
we changed the name of an Ubuntu machine on the domain, however, it retained its old FQDN:
Host_info/computer_fqdn: new name
host_capabilities/fqdn: old name
How can we make host_capabilities/fqdn equal to host_info/computer_fqdn?
"EDIT: It was a Linux issue, not WAPT; there was a trace left in the /etc/hosts file."
Thank you.
