Wapt - Missing package following restoration

Wapt version: 2.6.0.17226 - Enterprise Edition
Server OS: Debian 12
Target operating systems: Windows Server 2019
Os Machine administration: Win server 2022

Good morning,

Due to a problem, we had to restore a server using Veeam. However, since the restore, the "General" tab on the WAPT administration console remains empty (whereas it was correctly populated before). We have proceeded to:
  • Update the inventory
  • Restart the Wapt service
But that doesn't change anything. Have we forgotten something?

Thank you

Hi Cédric,

is the package inventory empty for all machines?

If you add a package to a machine with an empty inventory and force the installation, does it start working again?

The workstations update their inventory in a differential fashion to save bandwidth and server resources. There might be a bug there.

Regards,

Denis

Good morning,

not only on the restored machine.
We resolved the issue by following these steps:
  • Removing the machine from the Wapt administration console
  • Agent reinstallation
In the case of a Veeam restore (or other recovery software), is there a procedure to follow to ensure the machine restores itself automatically? up to date in wapt?
