[RESOLVED] Migration to a new server

Hello everyone,

I'm using WAPT 2.5 on a Debian 11.10 system. I want to migrate to a new server running Debian 12.11 (a fresh installation on a new infrastructure).

On the new server, I've installed WAPT 2.5 (and I'll update to 2.6 later), and I thought I'd copy the /var/www/wa* and /opt/wapt directories to the new one. But I haven't considered the certificates. Is there a specific procedure, or will simply copying the directories do the job?

Thanks in advance,
Philippe.

Hello,
The directories to back up/restore are located here:
https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/wapt-server-backup.html
https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/wapt-server-restoring.html

Have a good day,
Bertrand

Hi Philippe,

were you able to complete your server migration without any problems?

See you soon,
