[RESOLVED] WAPT: Centralizing management for multiple clients, is it possible?

Hello everyone,

is it possible to use a single WAPT server for multiple clients?

To clarify: if I have 15 clients (15 Active Directory accounts) under managed services, can I create a centralized server and connect all my clients to it, or do I need a separate WAPT server for each client?

Will each client only see their own software and updates to deploy, or is there a risk of data mixing?

Thank you for your answers.

Hello

, indeed the simplest solution in your case would be to have a central server to avoid having multiple servers.

Regarding the software, each workstation sees all the packages (shared hosting), while

the self-service server will only see what you have authorized.

Hello Jean-Denis,

to clarify Simon's answer, differentiated self-service is only available in the Wapt Enterprise version.

Furthermore, with the Enterprise version you will benefit from peer-cache support so that client workstations can share their updates amongst themselves, which is very advantageous for small client sites. :-)

Regards,

Denis
