[RESOLVED] Explanation of WAPT mass actions

Hello,

I recently made a mistake with WAPT and I'd like to make sure I understand the bulk actions correctly so I don't repeat it.

1/ If I select all the PCs in my inventory and then select a specific package in the General tab (there are usually several lines associated with it depending on the package's status), and then right-click > Install Package Selection,

does this launch the package installation on all machines or only on those that have it as a dependency?

2/ If I run a package installation command on a disconnected machine, is the command ignored or is it saved and executed when the machine connects?

Thank you for your clarification.

Hello,

1. This installs the package on absolutely all selected machines. To install it only on machines that already have the package, you need to use the "Package Status Summary" tab. The dropdown menu will be modified in version 2.7 to prevent this type of manipulation.

2. This is not saved; it is ignored.

Best regards,
Bertrand
