Migration from Windows to Linux server

Hello,
our WAPT server is currently on a Windows server, but we would like to migrate it to a Linux server.
Is there any documentation that explains all the steps involved?
Thank you.

Hello,
First, you need to back up the files listed in this section of the documentation:
https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/wapt-server- ... ml#windows
Then, on the new server, you can follow the documentation to install WAPT and then restore the folders indicated by following the link below (note that the file paths will be different between Windows and Linux):
https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/wapt-server- ... html#linux
We strongly recommend keeping the same server name and IP address.
Sincerely,
Ingrid

Hi Christophe,
So, is the Linux migration finally happening?
Having recently migrated myself, it's like night and day; the console is much more responsive.
And when there are large updates or many simultaneous installations, I get far fewer errors than before.
The migration isn't very complicated if you follow the recommendations carefully. The only one I didn't follow (because I couldn't) was keeping the same name and IP address for the server.
But if you can, try to keep them; that was the most challenging part for me.
Good luck with your migration.

Hello,
Following the migration, my WAPT client no longer installs automatically because it requires a password to register the machine on the server. This password is for the new Linux server. We had to change it because Linux requires a password of at least 10 characters.
I repackaged the agent from the console, but this did not fix the problem.
How can I resolve this issue?
Thank you.

It's all good, we've fixed the problem.
Our migration went smoothly.
Thank you and have a good day,
Christophe

All things considered, we do have a small problem.
Since the migration, our secondary repositories on Windows 11 are not synchronizing with the Linux server.
Do you have any idea what the issue might be?
Thank you.

Does nobody have any ideas?
Should the NGINX Remote Repository package be uninstalled and then reinstalled?
Or could it be a problem with the file path following the switch from Windows to Linux? In that case, could you tell me how to change the path and what to put there?
Here's my mistake:
